Plain English: Daily Canvas shows you museum art and, optionally, sets it as your wallpaper. Use it, enjoy it, don't abuse it. The art belongs to the museums and the public domain; the app belongs to us.

Acceptance

By downloading or using Daily Canvas ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms are between you and Daily Canvas ("we," "us"). Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

The service

Daily Canvas delivers a daily selection of museum-quality artwork to your Apple devices and provides tools to display it — as wallpaper, widgets, watch faces, and an Apple TV gallery. Some features rely on Apple technologies (Shortcuts, iCloud, Photos) and on your device and network; we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Subscriptions

• Daily Canvas is free to use, with an optional Daily Canvas Pro subscription that unlocks wallpaper automation, widgets, favorites sync, and all platforms.
• Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, with pricing shown in the app before purchase. A free introductory trial may be offered to new subscribers.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies, not by us.

Artwork and intellectual property

Artwork shown in Daily Canvas is drawn from open-access and public-domain collections of museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rijksmuseum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Gallery of Art, and the Cleveland Museum of Art. Those works are provided for your personal enjoyment. The app itself — its software, design, and branding — is our property and may not be copied, reverse-engineered, or redistributed except as allowed by law or Apple's EULA.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any museum's terms for its open-access images.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the app's services or content network.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app or its curated collections.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that the art selection, wallpaper automation, or syncing will always work as expected on every device or OS version. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We'll update the date above when we do.
